Anonymous Key Technology

Anonymous Key Technology (AKT,) secures the transmission of information for e-commerce and electronic communication applications without the costs and complications associated with existing solutions. Anonymous Keys are symmetric encryption keys generated by individual users based on user characteristics. Anonymous Keys also support smart cards, Radio Frequency (RF) tags and biometrics where stronger authentication is required. AKT can be deployed in any communications environment including 802.1x wireless, cellular and satellite networks. Unlike public keys that are used in PKI solutions, Anonymous Keys need not be registered with third parties, can be changed at any time, and are never exchanged with other users.

Advantages to Anonymous Key Technology

  • FIPS 140-2 certified
  • Simple, reliable and completely secure
  • Deployable in global implementations
